My classes will be tie-dying their own reusable masks. These masks can be worn throughout the school year to keep them safe in my classroom. During the likelihood that we will be participating in distance learning this year, my students will be able to wear their masks in their community. We will be learning about color theory by exploring the process of tie-dying. This will be a fun and engaging way to start the school year. It will also allow me to teach my students the new classroom procedures that have been put in place to keep them safe this year.
