My students are a mix of typically developing children and children with disabilities, working together in a classroom adapted to meet all needs. This year I have a much higher number of boys than girls and I am looking for fun ways to keep them engaged and excited about school. My students are beginning to get the hang of the school routine and they building wonderful friendships. I have many students that are great friends by making sure all the students feel welcome and included in all the activities. Our school is a PreK-5th grade building and many of my students have siblings in the higher grades. I love that my students have the chance to become a part of their school community from such a young age.
