These students need access to flexible seating in order to make their learning easier. Many of them have attention issues so sitting still and listening is not an option for them. We have a few stools for them to sit and wiggle on which seems to be helping and minimizing the need for out of classroom motor breaks.
With the use of flexible seating students will be able to choose a seating option that is most helpful for them. Instead of an adult telling them where to sit students will get to choose the seat that best fits their needs and making it more individualized to each learner.
