There is no classroom library in my new room. Since I taught math at my last school, I don't have a huge set of books for students to select from. The school is focusing on improving reading scores and I'd love to help students discover the joy in reading for pleasure. I hope to provide students with wonderful books that can transport children on amazing adventures. Students who discover the joy of reading may well read more frequently and improve their reading in a relaxed atmosphere. The children will then take part in book clubs and create commercials to promote their books to classmates. I can't wait to see students' eyes light up as they discover new places, new ideas, and new ways of seeing the world.

About my class
