My students never run out of energy or enthusiasm for school and learning. From the minute they walk in the door to the bus dismissal process, my students are engaged in relevant learning. We have positive attitudes in our classroom and try to be Little Blue Engines and not Rusty Engines.
Our school is a Title 1 funded school. The majority of our students' families are low income and cannot provide many of their children's own personal school supplies, which means they do not have the resources to donate extra items for the classroom. I provide all the extras in terms of paper, pencils, baggies, journals, crayon boxes, art shirts, craft supplies and snacks.
