I teach 45 - 5th grade students in Irvington Alabama. We are in an area of high poverty. My classroom is in great need of a new color printer and some ink cartridges. This new printer will benefit all students in my classroom. They will be able to print their work from the 2 student computers we have in the classroom . A printer would liven my class room and my students learning. Having a printer with not only black but colored ink leaves the possibilities endless in my classroom. We will be able to print out their individual pictures for their projects. All students feel a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when they see their work in published format. I want to be able to give them this feeling of satisfaction while they are learning along the way. Additionally, the printer will be used to print instructional materials, progress reports, power points. Differentiation is the key to success for my students. The printer will allow me to print differentiated materials to meet the needs of all my learners. Having a classroom printer with ink will help my students be successful tremendously! I believe ink is a necessity for any classroom especially if the students are benefiting from it. Your donation will give my students these needed resources to keep our classroom running smoothly and effectively all year, while watching our learning gains grow. I believe that having a classroom printer will enable my students to reach their full potential, by allowing them to see their personal work published in the classroom. I also feel that having a printer will enable me, as their teacher, to be able to print out materials as they are needed for each student.
