The kids are growing readers, writers, mathematicians, artists and scientists. We are in a public school in a small city in Abita Springs, Louisiana that has a little over five hundred students. Our school is wonderfully diverse with kids from homes of every kind and some who are homeless. We are a Title 1 school and more than 60% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Many have stories that are hard to hear, but all of them have so much to give and love to learn!
