My school has a diverse population, coming to school speaking several different languages at home. Over 1/3 of my students receive free or reduced lunch. These students are motivated and excited to learn. First grade is a year of tremendous growth and these young scholars are enthusiastic. My classroom is one in which I help guide students to meet their individual learning goals. Students become independent problem solvers and work together as a team. All students value each other and strive to make our learning environment engaging and positive.

About my class
