The urban school I teach in is bright, joyful and diverse. Each classroom is filled with an assortment of learners, which reflects the tremendous diversity of the local community. At our school over 60% of the students receive free and reduced lunch. We have a high English Language Learner population as well as students with special needs. I am a teacher that is deeply committed to the success of each student and I believe all students are capable of not only succeeding in school, but should joyfully grow every day. I am surrounded by hard working, deeply committed colleagues. My students put in their best effort and would use this during our Daily Five and centers.
