We are a 6th grade class that comes from a culturally diverse background. We vary in our talents and interests. When we participate in hands-on activities we come together and make amazing things happen. Our talents supplement each other and we design all kinds of creations! Some samples of our latest creations are a 3-D map of the Nile River, Egyptian Hieroglyphic writings on homemade papyrus, and shadow tracking for an Earth's season project. We work together to accomplish our learning objectives. Everyone contributes.
Our school is unique in it's design. It was built in the early '70's. It was built in the era of open classrooms. Our rooms are now individual rooms. Unlike most schools our walls are carpeted. We "pin" up our projects! Our classroom is on the second floor! A lot of people think our school is like a maze! If you get lost, just keep going around and around and you will eventually find us!
