I am asking for a set of Elephant and Piggie books, a set of All Aboard Reading books, two sets of the Biscuit books and two sets of Green Light Reader books. Donations for my 'Successful Readers Needed' project will benefit my students greatly by helping my low-socioeconomic students to increase their vocabulary skills, phonemic awareness, blending skills, and their reading fluency. The lower level books are ideal for my students who are having difficulty and who are struggling to read because these books are right on their level and are easy enough for their level. The success of my students' reading skills is my first priority. Many students who are in our county who are of the lower socioeconomic status do not have these resources at home to help them succeed. I plan to have students read these books during our open reading period and also take the books home to read to their families.
