I am a Special Education/ESL teacher. I teach 4th and 5th graders in the Learning Center at the Harvard-Kent School, located in the historic Charlestown neighborhood of Boston. We are close to the Bunker Hill Monument and the Navy Yard; home of the U.S.S. Constitution.
Our school serves students in grades K0-5. Close to 50% of our students are English Language Learners and over 20% are Students With Disabilities. The diversity of Boston is reflected in our student body. H-K students demonstrate Purpose, Responsibility, Individuality, Determination, and Engagement in all academic and community endeavors. We say our students show that they have P.R.I.D.E. in everything they do!
