I have 28 students who come from very diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of my students can't afford to purchase a lot of their school supplies, so I buy a lot of extra so they never go without. I want to see my students succeed and if I can do this through a different means of engagement I will. Most of my students have never seen an iPad before but are very excited to learn about all the possibilities they have by learning new platforms that can further enhance their own learning and push them into the 21st century. I have talked to my students about their goals after high school and many have no idea especially since money is such a problem. They don't want to end up working a minimum wage job, Their dreams are huge and I want to see them achieve those dreams through the help of iPads.
