This year I have 23 students who are in either second or third grade. My students work hard. I have 23 very hard workers in my class. My students love math games and practicing their flashcards. My students are so proud of themselves when they can go up a level, from addition to subtraction, then to multiplication. It's amazing to see all the students clap for each other when they have risen up a level and to see them help each other. My students are active. They need to see and hear and do to completely understand a subject.
The majority of my students come from low-income and single parent homes. All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
