Each morning, we have a block of sustained silent reading. During this time, my kids love to curl up with a good book. Research has found that reading aloud helps a person to comprehend better while enjoying the book. Unfortunately, in a class of 22 students, we do not have the luxury of enjoying this moment without distracting others who are reading.
When using these phones, there is a direct path from voice to ear, allowing kids to hear the crisp diction and fluency of what they are reading. This will give them the opportunity to develop independent reading skills.
