My 7th grade students all have diagnosed special educational needs. All are below grade level in reading. Some read at an early elementary level. My plan is to individualize our reading program to their instructional levels. Stories on CD is part of the plan. Our district is a Title I district, but our school is not, therefore does not receive some funding other buildings get. Our classroom has a high number of students from impoverished homes and receive free lunch. The parents of my students are not able to help provide materials for our classroom. My students are eager to learn; please help provide them with the materials necessary for success.
