The students I teach all attend a Title 1 school of approximately 500 students, over 65% of whom receive free and reduced lunch. With so many of our students living in poverty, it makes it very difficult to provide opportunities for our kids to explore and learn through hands on experiences, both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges, we have vibrant group of students who are motivated and working hard to give their best in school everyday.
