The chorus classes in my school serve 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls and boys that love singing. Music is very important in our school with over half of the student population in chorus or band! We are located in a small, rural community in Georgia. My students are sweet, loving, kind and LOVE MUSIC! We study all kinds of music, we write, we dance, we act... in short, we explore our world through the lens of the arts. In middle school, a chorus classroom is where kids go to find a "family" in school. We take field trips, we perform several times a year and we love and care for each other, all while we create beautiful music as a team.
