This is a Title I school with one of the highest homeless population and where 100% of the students receive a free lunch. These students face many challenges and insecurities in their daily lives, including poverty, homelessness, lack of food and proper clothing and incarcerated parents.
School is a place where they should experience the joys of learning, friendship, and the safety of a daily routine but we need to help meet those basic needs so that despite their adversities, they can come to school every day ready to learn.
My room is set up to help meet those basic needs but needs your help to make it happen.
