My class is made up of 8 girls and 8 boys. We all live in a rural area of central PA. We come from hard-working, middle to low class families. About half of my students come from broken homes, and about a quarter receive free or reduced lunches. We are very proud of our school, and a lot of students that graduate, stay in the area and raise their children here, too.
My class is very energetic. We move around a lot. We are learning the alphabet, sight words, and the beginning stages of reading. We have recently began to add and we look forward to each new challenge in math.
