My students come from many different countries in the Caribbean, Central, and South America. For some of my students, English is their second language. Many were not born here and most were born to immigrant parents. My students come to class everyday full of energy and ready to take on new and exciting challenges. They love when I assign them group activities where they can explore topics on their own and discover new things. My class is not usually very quiet and students are moving around from reading books, to taking notes, to using the computers. Tailoring lessons to meet all my students' individual needs is difficult but adding iPads to the class will allow me just that. My school is supportive in the students' access to technology and encourages teachers and students to do so.
