I teach a wonderful class of first grade students in a Title I school in a very rural, low economic area. Our class family includes several military students since we are located so close to Ft. Bragg. I greatly want my students to be able to become technologically proficient. My students need 2 Chrome books with durable headphones so that they can utilize the exciting learning apps and programs that are available on the world wide web. I want my students to be able to remain educationally competitive with students that have more opportunities for them in neighboring schools and counties that are able to provide more funding directly for classroom use. Having access to the Chrome Books will allow my students to differentiate their learning activities based on their learning levels, and they can share the technology equipment with their classroom buddies.
