I work with special needs students in grades K-3. Most of my students struggle when it comes to reading and writing. This year we will be piloting "Literacy Lessons" fashioned after the Reading Recovery Model but designed for small groups in any grade. This will require a large library of leveled books, some single and some mulitple copies. I would like to continue to build my classroom library with leveled books that students will find interesting, yet, challenging to help them succeed in becoming readers!
