Teaching is a work of heart, and unfortunately supplies and money. Thank you so much for considering a donation to my classroom and students.
When I first started at Hancock Elementary, I was moved by the sense of community and pride in our school, and country. We are located in the largest military housing community in the nation and I am so proud to be teaching the children whose parents defend our country so bravely.
Despite the challenges and sacrifices of being a military child, my students persevere and come to school ready to learn every day. They come to school with smiles on their faces and big hugs for me. I am honored to be teaching at my school because I truly feel as though I make a difference both emotionally and academically.
