I have a delightful class of students. Approximately two-thirds come from a Latino background, speaking Spanish in the home. They have supportive families, for the most part, but many without access to technology in the home. Ours is a Title One school, with over 65% qualifying for free/reduced lunch. As a school, we incorporate a character education program, which teaches personal responsibility and respect. The school community is regularly involved through programs and "family nights," focusing on literacy and strengthening the family group.
