I teach at a Title I school in East New York. My students are special needs students with various disabilities. They come from a low socioeconomic background. Many come from countries such as the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Jamaica and Mexico. Despite the many challenges they face, I try to provide them with many meaningful and creative learning experiences.
