Sending home beautiful new books to our students on a DAILY basis will promote literacy and get our students excited about becoming readers! This project will jump start a take home system with our K-2 students to get NEW books sent home EVERY DAY. Through this Take Home Book System, parents will be able to see what books their children are learning to read and help them practice in the evenings. This will also strengthen our parent-teacher communication by increasing awareness with what and how students are learning. Our students will have so much pride in bringing home books to share with their families. We are instilling a love of learning and reading. Nothing is more important during this digital age then getting books in their HANDS!
