Teaching in a Title 1 school brings its benefits and challenges. My students don't come from much. Anything that myself or other teachers provide them, they are incredibly grateful for. Being able to provide my kids (because they truly do become like my own) with a classroom that is full of color, creativity and is comfortable helps them to relax and enjoy school. I want my kids to see school as a way to achieve their dreams and to want and do better for themselves. Their parents work hard to give them a roof over their heads and a bed to sleep in at night. I want to give them a warm place to relax, learn and fall in love with the future that they can have.
