Coming to school prepared helps students feel confident about their learning. Many of my students come to school unprepared, without paper and pencils- basic tools to get them through the day. I try my hardest as a teacher to sharpen pencils and have students put their names on the board when they come unprepared and make sure they turn in their pencils at the end of the day so they will have a pencil the next day. This takes time out of my teaching and kind of puts the students on the spot as well.
Having these supplies readily available for each student will cut down on time spent having to ask other students or the teacher for materials they should already have and give me more teaching time which I feel is of vital importance.
