This year I moved from 5th grade to 1st grade. Although I am trying to be creative with the limited number of books in my classroom, we are quickly running out of books for our community of avid readers. A major part of generating interest in reading, is finding books that generate interest. I am striving to create a Reader's Workshop classroom, and currently I don't have the number of books to support our early readers. Please consider helping us out so my students have the opportunity to choose books in areas of interest, as opposed to just whatever few books are there and at their level.

About my class
