I teach students with emotional impairments in a self-contained classroom - grades K-5. I want students to be able to move to help increase their focus while learning. I chose to ask for a ball chair for each student to sit on while at their desk and to ask for some wobbly stools to use while doing my guided reading groups or working with students at the teacher table. I have some other flexible seating options in my classroom as well, but these seating options are the most important.
My students are an incredible group of kids! They learn just like any other student, but often they require modifications in the environment to ensure their success. Please help me to increase learning for my students.
