I found excellent models that can be used in Geometry. The Folding Geometric Models show the various geometric shapes such as cubes, cones, and cylinders, just to name a few. Not only will students be able to touch and feel the sides and angles of the shapes, but will also be able to to see the nets - the flattened model and what smaller shapes are used to create the larger geometric shape. Students will be constructing polygons, measuring, and creating graphs. As much as they try to draw straight lines, it will be so beneficial to have rulers to help them be more precise in their drawings.
