I teach at a public intermediate school in Hawaii. We do not have all the facilities that a high school would, in regards to physical education but we make due with what we have.
I teach 8th graders who are majority of Asian, Polynesian, Micronesian, Caucasian, and African American descent. They come from a suburban community that has a small mall down the road and shops near by. Most students have their own mobile devises and love technology. When they are not on their mobile devices outside of school they are actively playing team sports such as baseball, basketball, and volleyball.
