33 years as a Public School Teacher
and still love making a difference.
In 8 months I have gone from teaching Kindergarten to 4th grade and now beginning in September I will be teaching 8th grade social studies!
My 7th graders come from 6 different elementary schools with a wide range of learning styles and include students with learning disabilities.
The 60 students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds including about 70% free and reduced hot lunch.
Our school enrollment is over 1000 students of which 35% come from minority backgrounds (majority Hispanic).
I am excited to be working with a diverse group of young scientists who will be able to make the worlda better place.
