My kindergarten students are learning to share and respect their personal space. My kindergarten class is made up of 24 students with 11 English Language Learners (who speak more than 5 languages) and 3 Special Education Students in an inclusion program. We are a low income school which 90% of our students who are on free or reduced lunch programs. This carpet would allow my students to have an individual space for them in our classroom community and would help facilitate their beginning literacy skills.
