I am a hard-working, passionate teacher working in a high needs area. I absolutely LOVE my students. They are "my kids." I just started by eleventh year providing special education services to students in grades K to 8. I always aim to get to know my students both individually and as a community of learners. I love to see how they work independently and in a group. It's amazing to see how much they grow throughout the school year.
My school just opened! It is not easy to obtain all the materials needed to make learning fun & hands on. My goal is to create learning experiences my students will always remember. I want to provide them with tools and resources to enhance their learning experiences and make them want to learn more. It is important that students are participating in hands-on activities. I love seeing the smiles on their faces when they enjoy a lesson and activity. This is when they are most successful!
