Students attend the classroom in order to have 1:1 help, small group assistance, or a quiet area. I need resources (study carrel's) in order to provide a quiet area for some students to go. Students that have ADHD or need a quiet area normally do not need 1:1 or small group, they just need a private quiet area. A study carrel will provide this. Students deserve every opportunity to be successful and that includes having the proper furniture or desks that will assist their needs and provide success. I have an open concept at this time with individual desks and tables. This does not provide the opportunity to have a private quiet area.
