Some of the activities that students participate in throughout the year are . . .
* hiking and observing in the nature center,
* adopt chickens and work as a class to manage the coop
* presentation of a researched country / culture (evening event where ethnic food is prepared and served by school families and a variety of cultural dances are performed),

* study Michigan's natural history and ecosystems - trees, birds, wildflowers, amphibians and mammals.
* tapping and sugar bush with maple trees
