We are a school-wide Title 1 elementary school. We have over 70% free and reduced lunch and our classes are made up of mostly English Learners of various proficiency levels. Our students are eager to learn, yet face the challenge of succeeding in a technology-driven society without the benefits of having much access to technology on a daily basis. Most students do not have Internet or working computers in their homes. Our school has six computers in a classroom of 34 students, but no computer lab available for whole group or even small group instruction. Our students need more access to technology on a daily basis.
About my class
