I have a class of 5th Grade students. This is a largely Hispanic and low-income community. We are a one school district. I want them to have access to all of these great classic novels, I feel they need to be encouraged to attend college and complete A-G requirements in High School. They are a bunch of motivated students who like to succeed in all that they attempt. I just feel that they have a disadvantage because we do not have all of the materials that I would like to expose them to. as the years pass.
