Fairies, Gnomes and Butterflies..Oh My! ENCHANTED FOREST is our prom theme this year. I am a special education teacher in the south suburbs of Chicago. I teach at a cooperative school that services 17 different school districts in the area. We are a program with many different satellite sites that serves students who have multiple disabilities. Along with academics, we try to provide social and fun experiences for our students. One of these events that offers this experience is our prom. We have planned and implemented these proms for six years. The entire staff becomes involved in the preparation for this event. This includes our social workers gathering prom dresses for our girls to wear. Many staff members volunteer time and sweat to make decorations and prepare food. Please help us make this years prom MAGICAL!
