My students need simple and engaging texts to encourage reading. Many of my students are reading below grade level and struggle to find interesting texts that they can read independently. We have checked out several Elephant and Piggie books from the library, and every student enjoys reading about their adventures.
My struggling readers find success with the simple texts, but they are entertained and interested. My on level and beyond level readers also love reading these books. They love to share their favorites and discuss what they're reading. Finding books that all students enjoy is rare and special. Please help support our readers and add to our classroom library!
