This year, I am trying to incorporate stronger technology into my literacy and math centers in my first grade class. Students would use the iPads for independent as well as group reads, to answer comprehension questions, create a drawing as a reader's response, and have thousands of books literally at the tips of their fingers!
In math, they can work on their fact fluency, work on challenge problems, or solve math equations while working in their groups!
In a world that is requiring the use of technology in almost every area of people's lives, it is critical that we get NEW technology into our early childhood classrooms.
