Due to COVID-19, students spent more than a year in a learning environment that wasn't normal. Now that they are back in school full time, it's more important than ever that they feel safe and comfortable in the classroom. Flexible seating has been shown to foster communication and collaboration in an environment where students can learn best. Most of these items will be used to give them opportunities for flexible seating, and some of the others will be used to create some fun project-based learning activities. Computer science standard: 6-8.AP.PD.4 Collaborate with others, distribute tasks and maintain project timeline. NVACS Speaking and listening standard: Engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners.
