My students are primarily from a very poor community. All of my students receive free lunch. While the students are from less than desirable economic situations, that does not stop them from giving no less than their best. Our school has achieved high growth for the last 7 years. We have an active Junior Beta Club and a State Vice President from our school. Our students excel academically and our teachers are the top in the county. Our students have positive working relationships with both their teachers and their peers. Students at our school collaborate and use technology on a regular basis. They learn in authentic ways and have multiple opportunities to be successful no matter what their learning style may be.
