My ESL students are from Arabic and Spanish speaking countries learning English as a second language on a beginners level. They are currently writing personal narratives in three or five parts through a writers workshop curriculum that I've modified to be able to reach second language learners. They are learning about the mechanics of writing, illustrating their stories and will be reading their stories aloud at a publishing party.
