I have very special, very needy students in my 12:1:1 class. We are a Title 1 funded school. The disabilities affecting my students range from speech and language to autism. They just don't have the resources available that they need. I have a wonderful class. They are learning to work together, be more creative, be more independent, and have a more positive outlook on life. They also love to have fun and are very active. I want to include more centers into the day but I lack the materials. I want them to have all of the wonderful, creative, hands-on materials that they need and deserve. I also want them to have a comfortable place to work.
