I am requesting Big Joe Beanbag chairs to furnish my sitting area for my students. This area will be used for counseling sessions, peer mediation, and small group guidance classes. I am equipped with a SMART Board in my classroom, and this comfortable seating will be used during those interactive lessons as well. Also, when students come to me to deescalate, they will be able to rest comfortably until they are ready to communicate productively. Students often need a quiet safe place away from the demands of the regular classroom. I want my amazing counseling office to be their "safe-place"!

About my class
