I teach 14 kindergarten students in an urban district. Our school climate is very positive despite the adversities our staff and students face. Many of my students are special education students or English language learners. My students love to come to school everyday and are always eager to learn and try new things. Despite our eagerness to learn, we do not always have access to adequate materials. We always try our best to make do with what we have.
