鈥淚s Pluto really a dwarf planet? Why does a horse have so much hair? Why does a d look like a p upside down? Can I have a hug?鈥 Like most children, the students in my class are full of questions. No matter how hard I try keeping up with them, one thing I can never supply enough of is my attention. Luckily we get some one-on-one discussion time during guided reading to really explore their thinking.
Please help fund a new guided reading table so we can make better use of that time. My students came to me with a love for reading, and I鈥檝e watched that blossom this year. Unfortunately, it isn鈥檛 always easy for them. This will help our class reach our reading goals.
The seat sacks requested will serve to keep my students' belongings more organized and create more space within our classroom. Currently, students are keeping their books in cubbies that are falling apart and taking up too much room. Since our classroom is used not only for general instruction but also as an art room, gym room, science lab, and recess space, it is especially important that we maximize every inch of space. Please help us to do so!
